Dr. Chowdhury intentionally maintains a small practice so you feel more than just a number. You matter to Dr. Chowdhury and she will work closely with your other medical providers to provide you with the best care. Dr. Chowdhury also ensures she responds to her patient communications in a timely fashion.

This is a chance for us to introduce each other, discuss goals, and discover whether we will be a good fit. No treatment relationship will be established from this initial consultation. You can skip this step and book an intake appointment directly which will get you seen faster. Please note, the initial email you send is not secure so send a simple email stating you would be interested in an intake appointment and Dr. Chowdhury will then start a secure email thread with you.

Comprehensive New Patient Consultation 

Adults: upto 60 mins

Child and Adolescent: upto 90 mins

Afternoon Light

During this appointment, we will delve into your journey, consider appropriate diagnosis, and come up with a treatment plan. The fees for the initial evaluation is non refundable and charged when booking the appointment. 

No treatment relationship will necessarily emerge from this initial meeting. If we decide that we are a good fit for each other, we will then develop a treatment relationship where I can be considered your doctor/psychiatrist.

Psychotherapy: FULL at this time

Marble

This service can be provided with or without medication management. If psychotherapy is started and at some point you feel your situation has stabilized and you would only prefer medication management, we can work together to make that transition. 

Continued Medication Management

Fragile Pampas

We will have regular appointments and check on your medications and consider any further changes to your treatment that may be needed. Dr. Chowdhury believes that strong mental health care is provided through collaboration and she will work with other healthcare providers you/your child is working with including therapists, primary care and schools as needed.
